1 On the cross my Savior bought me,
In the wilderness He sought me,
To His blessed ford He brought me,
For He loves even me.
For He loves even me, He loves even me;
To His blessed fold He brought me;
Jesus loves even me.

2 Soft as ev’ning dewdrops falling,
Is His voice so sweetly calling,
More and more my soul enthralling,
For He loves even me.
For He loves even me, He loves even me;
More and more my soul enthralling;
Jesus loves even me.

3 Since that happy day He found me,
Everlasting arms surround me;
With His mercies He hath crowned me,
For He loves even me.
For He loves even me, He loves even me;
With His mercies He hath crowned me;
Jesus loves even me.

4 All my needs to Him I’m bringing,
To His keeping hand I’m clinging,
And my heart for joy is singing,
For He loves even me.
And my heart for joy is singing,
Jesus loves even me.

5 Though the ills of life may grieve me,
Yet I know He’ll never leave me,
To His glory He’ll receive me,
For He loves even me.
To His glory He’ll receive me,
Jesus loves even me.
