Representative Text

1 Our Father God, Thy voice we hear,
That kindly calls Thy children near;
In humble faith, we bend the knee,
How sweet to cast our care on Thee!

Refrain:
Able and willing,
Our burdens to bear;
Draw us still closer,
And answer our pray’r;
Beautiful promise,
“He careth for thee,”
And Thou shalt our confidence be.

2 Our Father God, Thou knowest well,
The secret grief we cannot tell;
Our inmost need Thine eye can see,
And we will cast our care on Thee! [Refrain]

3 Our Father God, we bless Thy love,
Exhaustless scores of grace above;
Till crowned on high, from burdens free,
O Lord, we cast our care on Thee! [Refrain]
