Our Shepherd Leads

Representative Text

1 Our Shepherd is the Savior true,
Calm, peaceful vales he leads us through,
Come, let us join in mirthful song,
As Christ, our Shepherd leads along.

Refrain:
Our Shepherd leads by crystal streams,
Where purest fountains brightly gleam;
We’ll follow him, both day and night,
For well we know he’ll lead us right.

2 We will not fear though storms arise,
And darkness overspreads the skies,
For well we know when near his side,
That he will be our faithful guide. [Refrain]

3 Thus we are safe whate’er betide,
If we but follow near his side,
He ever knows the better way,
We’ll follow meekly and obey. [Refrain]
