1 Repent, oh, repent, is the message
That rings from the Gospel today;
The voice is the voice of the Savior,
The Life and the Truth and the Way.
Refrain:
Repent, oh, repent and believe Him,
Who offers full pardon today;
’Tis Jesus who bids you receive Him,
There’s no other way but this way.
2 Now hark to the call of the Master,
Repent, yes, repent and believe;
Come near to the Savior of sinners,
And life everlasting receive. [Refrain]
3 You cannot undo what is over,
Nor make it the same as before;
True penitence grieves o’er the error,
Resolving to do so no more. [Refrain]
4 Repentance will turn from wrongdoing,
To seek out the pathway of right,
And, trusting the mercy of Jesus,
Will walk in His glorious light. [Refrain]
