Që Jezusi na tregon.
Si një oqean i shtrirë
Dhe i gjerë, më mbulon.
Rreth e rrotull, brenda, jashtë,
Nga çdo anë kjo dashuri
Mua më mban, më mbron, dhe lart në
Qiell më çon, o Zot, tek ti.

2 Për k’të dashuri të Zotit
Në çdo vend unë do t’tregoj.
Nga lasht’sia nuk ndryshohet
Dhe askurrë nuk do t’mbarojë
Me k’të dashuri Jezusi
Na përkrah në v’shtirësi,
Duke ndërmjetsuar me lutje
Për të dashurit e tij.

3 Dashuri mbi dashuri ësht’
Kjo e vyera dashuri;
Ësht’ një oqean bekimesh,

Author: S. Trevor Francis

Francis, Samuel Trevor, son of an artist, was born at Cheshunt, Herts, in 1835, and is a merchant in London. He has written numerous hymns, which have been printed in various religious newspapers and periodicals during the past 30 years. Of these hymns the following are in the Enlarged London Hymn Book, 1873:— 1. Blessed, blessed Jesus. Pressing Onward. 2. Gracious Saviour, grant Thy word. Lent. 3. Home, home of light and glory.
