Min Hyrde Jesus er,
At han sit Blod
For mig paa Korset lod
Til at frelse mig og hver;
Han kjender mig blandt sin Flok,
Det er nok!
Jeg kjender ham igjen
Som Sjælens bedste Ven,
De mig vel forsørge skal,
Og igjennem Dødens Dal
Føre mig til Himlens Sal.

2 Hvor du gaar rem,
Jeg følger ind og ud;
Min Gang bestem,
O Jesu, gjør mig nem,
Du, min Konge og min Gud!
Sank, Jesu, sank dine Faar,
Som der gaar
Adspredte her og der;
O, sank dem en og hver
Til din rette Faaresti,
Staa dem ved din Naade bi,
Gjør dem og fra Ulven fri!
