Savior I Would Live for Thee

Representative Text

1 Saviour, I would live for Thee,
In Thy likeness growing;
All Thy wondrous love to me,
Unto others showing.

Teach me, Lord, the love that lives
In the spirit that forgives;
Teach me, Lord, the love that gives
Just the best to others.

2 Saviour, I would learn the way,
Aching hearts to brighten;
Even when my burdens weigh,
Other’s then to lighten. [Refrain]

3 Saviour, Thou hast given all,
Why should I be sparing?
Be my portion large or small,
It will grow by sharing. [Refrain]
