Representative Text

1 Send the news along the line,
Love’s redeeming work is done;
Death is vanquished, sin forgiv’n,
Thro’ the death of Christ, the Son.

Send the news, send the news,
Send the news that Calvary brings,
Jesus comes the lost to save;
Crown Him, crown Him King of kings!

2 Send the news along the line,
Spread the tidings far and wide;
Jesus comes the lost to save,
Jesus, the once crucified. [Refrain]

3 Send the news along the line,
Gladsome news of heav’nly grace;
Precious blood from Calvary,
Saves the vilest of the race. [Refrain]
