Full Text

1 Sing more of Heaven, ye blood bought souls,
And less of your trials complain,
With faith in Christ, the Father’s own son,
Who for your redemption was slain.

Sing more of Heaven,
Ye blood bought souls,
Sing more of Heaven,
With souls aglow,
Sing more of Heaven,
Its city so fair,
Shout, shout your triumph,
We’ll soon be there.

2 Sing more of Heaven, and onward press,
Let the world have less of care;
With soul intent on Heaven’s award,
All enemies bravely dare. [Refrain]

3 Sing more of Heaven, with souls aglow,
And with purpose firm and true,
Loved ones are there on the glory strand,
And Just will welcome you. [Refrain]

4 Sing more of Heaven, with its city fair—
Its streets inlaid with pure gold;
The pearly gates open night and day,
And mansions fitted of old. [Refrain]

5 Sing more of Heaven, sing and be glad;
Shout your triumphs full and clear;
We’ll soon be there, in its vict’ries share,
And reign with our Saviour dear. [Refrain]
