Representative Text

1 Soldiers of Jesus,
Marching along,
Blest is our service,
Glad is our song;
Under his banner,
Happy and free,
Jesus will lead us on.

Refrain:
Onward we’re marching,
Glad is our song,
Under his banner,
Marching along;
Onward, onward, onward,
Marching the way he leads.

2 Soldiers of Jesus,
Forward we go,
Vict’ry our watchword,
Down with the foe;
Down with the tempter,
This be our aim,
Fighting in Jesus’ name. [Refrain]

3 Soldiers of Jesus,
Loyal we stand,
Fight or go forward,
At his command;
Under his banner,
Marching along,
Happy our battle song. [Refrain]
