We ask for donations here just twice a year, and this is one of those times. So, before you hit the "close" button on this box, would you consider a donation to keep Hymnary.org going? Even small amounts help, and they also let us know you're behind us and support what we do.

Last month, our Hymnary website had almost 1 million visitors from around the world: people like you who love hymns. To serve our users well takes money, and we have limited sources of revenue. This fund drive is one such source.

Representative Text

1 There’s a world from sin to save,
For the sake of Jesus;
There are dangers great to brave,
For the sake of Jesus.
As the world we journey thro’,
With the cross and crown in view,
There’s so much that we can do,
For the sake of Jesus.

Refrain:
For the sake of Jesus,
For the sake of Jesus;
There’s so much that we can do,
For the sake of Jesus.

2 There are cheerful words to speak,
For the sake of Jesus;
There are wand’ring souls to seek,
For the sake of Jesus.
There are hungry ones to feed,
There are falt’ring steps to lead,
Let us do each loving deed,
For the sake of Jesus. [Refrain]

3 There are foes that we must fight,
For the sake of Jesus;
There are wrongs that we must right,
For the sake of Jesus.
Ere the setting of the sun,
Ere the work of life is done,
There are kingdoms to be won,
For the sake of Jesus. [Refrain]
