Representative Text

1 This is so wonderful, Jesus now loves me,
That he will be to me ever a Friend;
This is so wonderful, from sin he saves me,
And with his presence my steps will attend.

Refrain:
It is so wonderful, strange and so wonderful,
That he his love should bestow upon me;
This is so wonderful, wonderful, wonderful,
That he should die for my soul on the tree.

2 This is so wonderful, Jesus now helps me
All of my journey thro’ as I have need;
This is so wonderful, that he forgives me,
And proves a Savior and Helper indeed. [Refrain]

3 This is so wonderful, he walks beside me,
And with his unerring hand he doth guide;
My soul he satisfies in its deep longings
And daily does for me manna provide. [Refrain]

4 This is so wonderful, he will not leave me,
But to his covenant he will be true;
This is so wonderful, his grace will keep me,
And with new power my soul will endue. [Refrain]

5 This is so wonderful, far up in heaven
He has prepared for his loved ones a place;
This is so wonderful,
