Representative Text

1 To God above from all below,
Let Hymns of Praise ascend;
Whose Blessings unexhausted flow,
Whose Mercy knows no End.

2 Let All with Praises bless his Name,
Whose Mercy All may prove;
And pleas'd from Age to Age proclaim
The Wonders of his Love:

3 That Love, whose Gifts, with thankful Hearts,
The Sons of Want divide:
And find their ev'ry Grief redreess'd,
Their ev'ry Want supply'd.
