O Verbo Divinal

Representative Text

1 Tu foste o Verbo divinal
Que nos mostraste Deus,
Da graça a fonte perenal,
Nascida ali, nos céus.
És digno Tu, Jesus Senhor,
De nossos cantos de louvor.

2 Patenteado foi por Ti
O coração de Deus;
A perfeição se viu aqui
Como antes só nos céus.
És digno Tu, Jesus Senhor,
De nossos cantos de louvor.

3 O grande amor que nos atrai
Podemos já fruir,
Pois que, quais filhos, para o Pai,
Nos queres conduzir.
És digno Tu, Jesus Senhor,
De nossos cantos de louvor.

4 Tempos infindos passarão;
Tu permanecerás.
Outrora aqui na provação
Mas hoje em glória estás.
És digno Tu, Jesus Senhor,
De nossos cantos de louvor.
