Por muito que ruja, não pode quebrar:
É a linda esperança que outorga Jesus,
Legada na morte de angústia na cruz.

2 No arcano celeste, ao trono de Deus
Que reina, supremo e eterno, nos céus,
É que ela se prende e firme será,
Pois Deus a garante e não falhará.

3 E quanto mais rija procela se vê,
Fiquemos tranquilos, bem firmes na fé.
Nem fúria dos ventos, nem choques do mar,
A entrada do porto nos podem vedar.
