1 Uplifted voices, Heaven’s Choir!
Praising in melodies sublime;
Love tunes their music, they ne’er tire,
Nor shall their chantings cease with time.

“Glory forever!” angels adore!
Sing to His praises evermore!
Mention His name who reigneth above,
Great in His wisdom, pow’r and love.

2 Uplifted voices, sweetly swelling,
Now faint and far, now loud and near;
Songs by the saved, their triumph telling,

Songs that the angels e’er intone,
