During our last fund drive one donor said this: "I love hymns ... If you asked for money, it means you need it! Please keep the work going. And please, accept my widow's mite. God bless you."

She was right. We only ask for money twice a year, and we do so because we need it.

Representative Text

Vor dir, Herr Jesu! steh ich hie
Und beuge meines herzenskute;
Mich drücken meine sünden:
Ich fühle deines zornes ruth,
Doch tröstet mich dein theutes blut;
Ach! laß mich gnade finden.
Herr Jesu Christ, dein blut allein,
Macht mich von allen sünden rein
Wenn cih in wahrer reu und buß
An dich glaub und fall dir zu fuß:
Mein Herr und Gott! ich danke dir,
Mein Herr und Gott! ich danke dir,
Ich will mcih besern, hilf du mir.
