Full Text

1 We are battling for the Lord,
In His might, in His might;
With His trusty shield and sword,
Let us fight, let us fight;
Let us sound the battle cry,
Let us wave His banner high,
For the victory is nigh,
It is nigh.

Refrain:
Let us wave the glorious banner high,
Let us loudly shout our battle cry,
Let us keep our armour bright,
As we forward go to fight;
We shall conquer thro’ His might,
Thro’ His might.

2 Though the foe be very strong,
We shall win, we shall win;
Though the road is rough and long,
Trust in Him, trust in Him;
Though the night is dark and drear,
Yet our hearts will never fear,
For the Lord our strength is near,
He is near. [Refrain]

3 Valiant soldiers may we be,
Serving Him, serving Him;
Many triumphs may we see
Over sin, over sin;
Let us keep our armour bright,
AS we forward to the fight,
We shall conquer thro’ His might,
Thro’ His might. [Refrain]
