Recruits for Jesus

Representative Text

1 We come with banners waving,
The heralds of a King!
He rules with love and mercy,
And we his praises sing.

Refrain:
Receive our gracious Master,
We bring his word to you;
Shake off the sins that bind you,
And yield him service true.

2 We come with heav’nly armor,
With shied and sword to win,
From Satan and his army,
The souls he bound in sin. [Refrain]

3 We march to bring salvation,
To all the troubled earth;
We spread the fame of Jesus,
Our King of peerless birth. [Refrain]
