1 Wer ist wohl wie Du,
Jesu, süße Ruh'!
Bist vom Vater auserkoren,
Zu erretten was verloren.
Wer ist wohl wie Du,
Jesu, süße Ruh'!
2 Du gingst in den Tod,
Littest Angst und Not.
Bist am Kreuz für uns gerichtet,
Hast der Sünde Macht vernichtet.
Kein Gericht mehr droht,
Du gingst in den Tod.
3 Deiner Liebe Macht
Hat das Werk vollbracht.
Und Du gingst zum Vater wieder,
Der Dich sandt' zu uns hernieder,
Als das Werk vollbracht
Deiner Liebe Macht.
4 Bald kommst Du zurück –
O welch selig Glück!
Führest uns aus Kampf und Leiden
Hin zu Dir, zu ew'gen Freuden.
O welch selig Glück!
Du kommst bald zurück.
