He Knows

Representative Text

1 When days ae long, and nights ae drear
When heart doth ache, and falls the tear,
I'll take to Jesus all my woes,—
He knows, ah yes, He knows.

Refrain:
My Savior knows, I'm sure He knows,
I go to Him with all my woes;
And in His love I'll safe repose,
For He, my blessed Savior, knows.

2 My foes beset the way I take,
I know that He will ne'er forsake;
My heart with gratitude o'erflows,
Because my Savior knows. [Refrain]

3 And day by day my Lord I'll meet,
And with Him hold communion sweet;
He'll shield me when the storm-wind blows,
He knows, my Savior knows. [Refrain]
