Representative Text

1 When I made a full surrender,
Keeping nothing from my Lord,
He bestowed the fuller blessing,
That is promised in His word.

Refrain:
Have you made a full surrender?
Bring Him all you have to give;
And the life of consecration,
He will give you pow’r to live.

2 Ev’ry day I find new pleasure,
As I live and work and pray;
His commandments once so grievous,
Now I cheerfully obey. [Refrain]

3 Just to win a soul to Jesus,
Be the passion of my heart;
By the love of Christ, persuade them
From all evil to depart. [Refrain]

4 And when heaven’s books are opened
I shall hear them read my name,
Pardoned by the blood of Jesus,
Thou art free from sin and blame. [Refrain]
