When Satan tries to tempt me

1 When Satan tries to tempt me, and says it is in vain
To walk the narrow pathway, my goal I’ll never gain;
Before his darts can harm me, I hear a gentle call,
Which says that He who died to save me will not let me fall.

I lean on Him who helps me, the victory to win;
