Father, Bless Us as We Worship

Representative Text

1 When we come to thy house, O holy Father!
And unite in fervent prayer,
May the breath of the Spirit be upon us,
And thy mercy greet us there.

Refrain:
Bless us now as we worship at thy feet;
Bless us now as thy mercy we entreat;
Bless us now, let our cleansing be complete;
Come and bless us now.

2 When we come to thy courts, O blessed Father!
And unite to offer praise,
May the Spirit inspire us with devotion,
And our songs to thee we raise. [Refrain]

3 When we worship before thee, O heav’nly Father!
And in deep repentance kneel,
May the Spirit of power rest upon us,
And thy grace in us reveal. [Refrain]
