Who will enlist to serve

Representative Text

1 Who will enlist to serve in the kingdom?
Who will enlist to work for the Lord?
March under orders, march on to glory,
You have the promise of sure reward.

Refrain:
Forward, forward, on the paths untrod!
Onward, onward, in the pow’r of God!
His unfailing strength prevailing
Leads us on to certain victory;
Jesus calls us onward,
Onward to the fray;
Who will enlist to serve in the kingdom?
Who will enlist today?

2 Who will enlist where foes shall be strongest?
Who will enlist where duty is hard?
Who volunteers where battle is longest?
Who will the ensign of Jesus guard? [Refrain]

3 On to the conflict! Fear not the dangers!
Christ is the Leader he standeth nigh;
March, ever trusting, sure is the outcome;
He shall be Conqueror by and by. [Refrain]
