Representative Text

1 With folded hands upon my breast,
When daylight fades away;
Sincerely, humbly I will pray,
O Jesus, watch me while I rest.

Refrain:
Morning, noon and night
I will pray, I will pray;
O keep me by Thy might,
I will pray, I will pray.

2 When morning sun is shining bright,
My hands I’ll lift in prayer;
Keep me in safety everywhere,
And help me always choose the right. [Refrain]

3 Oft I will raise my prayerful eyes
All thro’ the busy day;
Deep in my heart I’ll softly say,
"O Savior, make me good and wise." [Refrain]
