She was right. We only ask for money twice a year, and we do so because we need it.

وادفع شرورَ الظالمينْ
وانهض إلى معونتي
فأنت لي الحصن الحصينْ
وقل لنفسي ها أنا
نبعُ خلاصك الثمينْ
يرجعُ طالبوا الأذى
عني بخِزيٍ خائبينْ

2 لأنهم قد حفروا
لي حفرةً بلا سببْ
مَن ينصبِ الفخَّ يقعْ
في فخه الذي نصبْ
أما أنا ففرحٌ
أفخرُ بالرب الرحيمْ
يهتف قلبي قائلاً
من مثل فادينا الكريمْ

3 إلى متى يا خالقي
تسكُتُ عن معونتي
إنهض وخلصْ منقذاً
من العِدى وحيدتي
فالحمدَ أُهدي دائماً
لك أيا ربي الكريمْ
مسبحاً مرنماً
في وسط جمهورٍ عظيمْ

4 وطالبُ الإنصاف لي
يفرح في كل الحياهْ
وليقل مُرنماً
تعظمَ الرب الإلهْ
فإن ربي سَرَّهُ
خلاص نفس عبدهِ
لذا لساني لاهجٌ
بعدلهِ وحمدهِ
