Albert, Prince of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha, Prince Consort of Great Britain born at Castle Rosenau, near Coburg, Aug. 26, 1819, died at Windsor Castle, Dec 14, 1861. Pianist, studied music at Coburg and at Brussels. Works: Masses; Anthems; Songs and glees; also an opera, Hedwig von Linden.
