Leonard Duffie Huffstutler Born: June 17, 1887, Liberty, Alabama. Died: January 7, 1977, Dallas, Texas. Buried: Laurel Land Memorial Park, Dallas, Texas. Leonard was the son of Hugh Montgomery Huffstutler and Amelia E. Dickson, and husband of Sallie Cowart. He grew up on a Texas farm and attended Texas A&M University, College Station. He studied music with John Herbert, Rufus Cornelius, Homer Rodeheaver, and Arthur Sebren.
