Since 2000, the Director of Music Ministries for the Catholic Community of St Thomas More, Chapel Hill, NC, Roger Petrich previously served parishes in Illinois, Oklahoma and Wisconsin. Of German-Norwegian ancestry, born and raised in North Dakota, he has a Bachelor of Music, magna cum laud, from St Olaf College, with graduate studies at The University of Iowa. He was among the first Fellows of the College of Church Musicians, Washington [Episcopal] Cathedral, Washington DC, and also studied at the Berlin School of Church Music, Spandau, Germany. Studies in Pastoral Ministry were done at Kansas-Newman College, Wichita KS. He is now retired and living in Illinois.
