Composer: C. H. Bottoms

Claud Hinton Bottoms, born in 1878 in Georgia. He was interested in music as a child. His parents sent him and his siblings to singing schools in the community to learn to read music and sing the various parts. He was then sent to Showalter's Music School in Dalton, Georgia and later studied with male voice teachers in Atlanta. He taught music in Georgia, the Carolinas, Tennessee, and Alabama. He also traveled with evangelists, leading choirs and teaching music.
