My impression is that by default Person authorities have capitalization in accordance with the usual custom in writing persons' names. But just now when I tried to enter SH1855 #158's tune info, there was no Wood_FC = F. C. Wood listed, so I created a new person. But then when I tried to enter him in the instance tune page, I was told there was already an F. C. Wood listed, but as wood_fc, with the same tune in three instances under a different tune name, SHOUT ON, only one of the instances naming this composer. But when I tried to merge them into Wood_FC, it all just hung up and they were all erased. So finally I recreated Wood_FC and reentered the instances with it that way. Would appreciate someone at Grand Rapids Central going in and making sure I got it right. Since I don't have a copy of the Church Hymnary, I can't be sure the "(attributed to)" part is correct in the instance, but that's what it said before it was obliterated, so I redid it that way. Here are a couple of screenshots of some of what I saw prior to the erasure, so you can see that the preexisting person page was actually all lower case, etc. First screenshot — Second screenshot
Thanks,

Wood_FC
It looks good. The "wood_fc" authority was not set up correctly, so the full name was "[F. C. Wood]". That is why you had trouble finding it.
