What are Recommendations for person authority pages?

You are here

Haruo's picture

Today when I visit a person page, instead of tabs for TEXTS, TUNES, and HYMNALS, I find tabs for TEXTS, TUNES, HYMNALS, and RECOMMENDATIONS. What sort of “recommendations” are appropriate to enter here? So far I haven't found any persons that actually have any recommendations listed. I was wondering in connection with St. Irenaeus, who was the first one on whose page I saw this feature, if it would be appropriate to mention the dates (June 28 in the West, August 23 in the East, and “Monday after fourth Sunday of the Exaltation of the Cross in the Armenian Apostolic Church) on which he is annually venerated.

We are piloting a recommendation system related to Bible Knowledge Graph entries, lectionary weeks, and scripture passages. We populated the system with recommendations made by Emily Brink, so Emily Brink's page is currently the only page that has Recommendations. There are related Expert Recommendations with Treatment pages found under Exploration Tools. If the recommendations prove useful we plan to expand the set and welcome suggestions regarding topics and experts.
