| Text: | Sincerity Is My Soul's Aspiration |

1 Sincerity is my soul's aspiration;
Sincerity I choose in veneration
Of God, to be upright, as He made man
In His own image when the world began.
2 Sincerity flees earthly captivation;
Sincerity seeks heav'nly meditation.
Sincerity directs all thoughts above
To Jesus, as the symbol of pure love.
3 Sincerity, Lord, let me always treasure,
Sincerity be giving without measure
In joy and sorrow, to both foe and friend.
Sincerity I seek to my lie's end.
4 Sincerity will give me joy unending
While here on earth, all other joys transcending.
When I united am with God at last,
My heav'nly bliss will then be unsurpassed.
