116. Where They Never Grow Old

1 In that land where none ever grow old,
In that land where the love-light ne’er dies,
Where no suff’ring and sorrows are known,
We shall meet far beyond the bright skies.

Refrain:
We shall meet on the bright golden shore,
Where there’s life and there’s love we are told,
And with dear ones shall part never more,
In the land where they never grow old.

2 There the flowers forever more bloom,
And life’s springtime shall ne’er pass away,
There’s no dreading of death or the tomb,
For the morning but openeth to day. [Refrain]

3 Sorrow’s tears never more shall be known,
Ev’ry heartache be banished for aye,
To our arms all the lov’d ones shall come,
In the beautiful land far away. [Refrain]

4 In the land where none ever grow old,
In the beauty of morning they’ll dwell,
There they tell us no partings are known,
And they never more say “fare-you-well.” [Refrain]
