1 Jesus, Saviour, we have promised
Thine and only Thine to be;
Guard and keep us firm and steadfast,
One in Spirit, one in Thee.

2 Oh, instruct us in the wisdom
And the knowledge of Thy ways;
Help us follow Thy example
And be faithful all our days.

3 May the blessed Holy Spirit
From Thy presence now descend;
Filling all our hearts with gladness,
While our songs in rapture blend.
