10445. We've Been Singing

1 We’ve been singing, we’ve been singing,
In our Sabbath home today,
How our Savior like a shepherd
Leads us in the heavenly way.

Refrain:
O ’tis sweet to follow Jesus,
Sweet His little ones to be;
He is calling us so gently,
Children, give your hearts to Me.

2 We’ve been singing of His goodness,
How He loves us all the while;
When we try our best to please Him,
He rewards us with His smile. [Refrain]

3 We’ve been singing of His mercy
That will save us, every one,
If we come to God the Father
Thro’ our Savior, Christ the Son. [Refrain]

4 Now our happy song is over,
Once again we meet to part;
But we pray that God will bless us,
And abide in very heart. [Refrain]
