175. Awake, O Zion

1 Awake, awake, put on thy might,
O Zion, bare thine arm;
O slumber not, as in the night
The watchman sounds alarm.

Refrain:
Arise, O Zion, stand in might,
Arise for holiness and right;
And wear thy robes of stainless white,
Thy glorious King shall reign.

2 O Zion, weary thy fairest dress,
A robe without a stain;
Array thyself in holiness,
On thee the Christ shall reign. [Refrain]

3 Jerusalem, thou city fair,
Thou art the King’s delight;
He gave thee treasures rich and rare,
And built thy mansions bright. [Refrain]
