Text Information:

This joyful paraphrase of Psalm 30 could well illustrate how to fulfill the first question of the Westminster Catechism: that a human being’s “chief end” is “to glorify God, and to enjoy him forever.” It is set to a Hasidic melody that suggests the ties with Jewish tradition.
