1 Fearless, when our path below,
Pleases God our Father,
Though the end we may not know,
Till the shadows gather.

2 Darkness never we shall fear,
Stars our road will brighten.
Pray, and God is ever near,
Naught His child shall frighten.

3 Strive for all thou boldest dear,
Die, if God so meant it;
Thus we live without a fear,
Thus we die contented.
