1 Holy Spirit, dwell within,
Cleanse my heart from ev'ry sin,
Fill me with the Saviour's love,
Give me wisdom from above.

2 Spirit, in temptation's hour,
Keep from falling by Thy pow'r,
Lead me in the path of peace,
Give me, daily, grace for grace.

3 When an overwhelming flood
Comes the mighty foes of God,
Lift the flag of Jesus' name
And all evil put to shame.

4 In the Spirit I would pray,
In Him walk the narrow way,
In Him keep secure from sin,
By the blood of Christ made clean.
