1 O Saviour, hear a sinner's cry,
And take my guilt away,
Bring now Thy true salvation nigh,
And hear a suppliant pray.

2 The time I've made Thy mercy wait
I deeply now deplore,
My follies past do I regret
And every sin abhor.

3 My soul, bowed down with guilt and shame,
Seeks cleansing in Thy blood;
My life from sin and hell redeem
O thou sin-pardoning God.

4 Upon Thine undeserved grace
Throwing myself, I come;
Accept me in Thy faithfulness,
And lead me safely home.
