Tune: | HERRNHUT |
Composer: | J. Thommen |
1 They who Jesus’ followers are
And enjoy His faithful care,
By a mutual, hearty love
Their belief in Jesus prove.
2 By Thy reconciling love
Ever stumbling-block remove;
Each to each unite, endear;
Come, and spread Thy banner here.
3 Let us each for others care,
Each his brother’s burden bear,
To Thy Church a pattern give,
Showing how believers live.
4 May it to the world appear
That we Thy disciples are
By our loving mutually,
By our being one in Thee.
