Caught up in Count Nicolas von Zinzendorf's movement at age twenty, Henrietta Hayn spent the remainder of her life in service in Moravian communities in Grosshennersdorf and Herrnhut, Germany. Twenty-eight of her hymns appeared in the Brüder Gesangbuch, 1778.
