1 “Go work today in my vineyard,”
The Master is saying to you;
If you have heard the injunction,
Say what are you going to do?

2 Go work where you are most needed,
Pine not on some mission to roam;
While some may preach to the heather,
Your mission may be in your home. [Refrain]

3 Go work, no time to be idle,
For life is but short at the best.
If now you honestly labor,
Sometime you more sweetly may rest. [Refrain]

4 Go work today in my vineyard,
Go work for and work with your Lord;
If you give Him your best service
He’ll give you at last your reward. [Refrain]
