74. Now Is the Hour of Zion's Fulfillment

1 Now is the hour of Zion's fulfillment!
Voices of singing must shout the Amen!
Saints, long distressed and afflicted in sorrow,
Call to the nations in beck'ning refrain.

2 Now is the hour of Zion's awak'ning!
Long was her slumber and beautiful dream.
Visions, most ancient, again pierce the heavens,
Triumphs of love, for earth's peace to proclaim.

3 Now is the hour of Zion's achievement!
Cities, like Enoch's now build for their Lord.
Tasks long neglected her converts accomplished;
Purpose high-willed joined by lowly accord.

4 Now is the hour of Zion's redemption!
Israel and Gentile do safely repose.
Love, long expected, joins now in achieving
Brotherhood's victory, peace among foes.
