Text: | Lord, I will bless you all my days |
Author: | Isaac Watts |
Tune: | WILLOUGHBY NEW |
Composer: | John Schimminger |
Lord, I will bless you all my days!
Your praise shall dwell upon my tongue;
my soul shall glory in your grace,
let all rejoice to hear my song!
Come, magnify the Lord with me;
come, let us all exalt his name;
I sought th' eternal God, and he
has freed my longing heart from blame.
To him the wanderers lift their eyes,
their faces feel a heavenly shine;
a beam of mercy from the skies
will bless with light and joy divine.
God's angels help the one that faints,
and guard the ones that serve the Lord.
Obey and love him, all ye saints,
taste of his grace, and trust his word.
