| Tune: | [We're little Christian soldiers, brave and loyal too] |
| Composer: | C. H. G. |
1 We're little Christian soldiers, brave and loyal too
Steadily marching ever firm and true;
Christ is our Captain, and His orders we obey;
Where He shall lead us we will march away.
2 We're little sowers, and we scatter far and near,
Seeds for the harvest that will soon be here;
Kind words and action, little deeds of tender love,
Scattered abroad, will bring reward above.
3 We're little reapers, busy, busy all the day,
Gleaning among the thistles by the way;
O may we faithful be, that when He comes again,
Each one may bring a sheaf of golden grain.
