19. Be Not Ashamed of Jesus

1 Be not ashamed of Jesus,
Tho’ others may fear and flee;
When thou wast poor and needy
He was not ashamed of thee.

Whose goodness no words can tell;

Who loveth thy soul so well.

Thy Saviour and truest Friend;
