1 I know that my redeemer lives,
What joy the blest assurance gives!
He lives triumphant o’er the grave,
He lives omnipotent to save.

My Jesus hath done all things well.

2 He lives to bless me with his love,
He lives to plead my cause above,
He lives to silence all my fears,
He lives to wipe away my tears.

3 He lives, my wise and constant friend,
